Berlin Cosmopolitan School

Berlin Cosmopolitan School (BCS) is a non-profit international school with a focus on the sciences, music, and dance in the heart of Berlin. We offer Kindergarten and Preschool as well as Primary and Secondary School (Gymnasium). Today about 700 students from over 45 countries are enrolled at BCS. As an International Baccalaureate World School we are authorized to offer the curriculum of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and the IB Diploma Programme on the basis of the educational framework of Berlin. After 12 years, students may graduate with the IB Diploma and the German Abitur. At Berlin Cosmopolitan School we encourage students to become active and responsible world citizens. This includes strong academics and multilingualism as well as the development of social and intercultural skills. An individual education together with a good academic, emotional, and physical balance are top priorities at BCS. As an all-day school, we offer a unique and diverse Extracurricular Programme with over 50 different clubs, in which students can extend their learning experiences. Balonne Shire Council

Balonne Shire Council was proclaimed on 11 March 1903 and gazetted by the Queensland Government on 14 March 1903. We are located in South West Queensland, about 500km inland from Brisbane, and nestled just above the New South Wales border. Across 31,151.8sq km, the Balonne Shire has seven towns - St George, Thallon, Dirranbandi, Bollon, Nindigully, Mungindi, and Hebel - and 4480 residents call our region home. St George is the most populous town of the Shire, and is a hub for residents, travelers, and transportation networks. It is also home to the Balonne Shire Council Chambers. Rural Drone Academy

The Rural Drone Academy has become the leading drone education business travelling across regional & remote Australia, successfully providing a unique option sitting inbetween spending $2,000 on one week of formal CASA licence training (RePL) and obtaining no education at all. Training is based on what Chief Remote Pilot Fiona Lake wishes she could have learned as soon as she began flying drones but instead had to learn via attending training across Australia and overseas, many hours of flying drones in every state & territory, and more than five years of research. Fiona has received repeat invitations to present at the largest drone conferences on 4 continents and the information collected is then shared with participants in Australian workshops. To date, drone presentations have been run in every state except WA. No community is too small or too remote. This practical and holistic training has been honoured at a state government level (a Queensland 'Digital Champion' award), with a national award from Australia's largest drone organisation (AAUS; the Industry Award for Education & Training) and internationally (A 'Woman to Watch in UAS' award, issued by Chicago-based Women and Drones). Workshops are based on the introductory fundamentals of what every drone pilot needs to know to operate safely, productively and enjoyably, with valuable tips for advanced operators. Specific additional topics are added according to the training host's preference, to best suit local attendees. These specialty topics include using drones in farming or grazing enterprises, or drone photography - based on 30+ years of aerial photography experience and work within a variety of farming and livestock enterprises across Australia.
