Peace of Pisces Activist Wear & Gear is a North Hollywood, California-based e-commerce shop offering activist-centered clothing and gear. The shop, launched in summer 2018, was created by Piscean Jessamyn Land to inspire activism and promote personal expression in today's political and socioeconomic climate. Pisceans love nothing more than to be peaceful, but it's hard to have peace with everything around you in upheaval. You've simply got to do something to make things better. To get peace back, you have to act. Peace Is Action. The principles of Inclusivity, Diversity, Respect, Trust and Transparency guide all business decisions made at Peace of Pisces, as the shop continues to grow and support the global activist community. Jessamyn creates original graphic designs and personally selects each product, and is looking forward to collaborating with other artists to offer unique limited edition pieces in the future. Jessamyn, a veteran filmmaker, was inspired to create Peace of Pisces to fund DOSED, a documentary film about Drug Assault in America, after experiencing drug assault first hand in 2017. Drug Assault, otherwise known as "getting roofied", effects everyone and crosses all socioeconomic and gender barriers, yet little meaningful public discussion is being had to understand the causes, treatment, and combating of this traumatic and sometimes deadly type of assault.
