Cookware and Bakeware Alliance

The CBA is a not-for-profit trade association owned by its membership: manufacturers of cookware, bakeware and kitchenware with substantial operations and headquarters in the United States. The CBA began in the early 1920s as the Aluminum Wares Association, became the Metal Cookware Manufacturers Association in the 1960s, and in the 1970s changed its name to the Cookware Manufacturers Association in recognition of its representation of all types of cookware and bakeware materials. The CBA's mission is to inform and promote the industry to its members, their customers and to the general public. The CBA helps develop engineering standards for the industry, disseminates information to consumers, retailers and manufacturers, and offers forums for members to learn about the latest advances in manufacturing, retailing, distribution and materials. If your firm produces or markets your exclusively controlled brand of cookware and/or bakeware, you are invited to contact the CBA for information regarding membership.

Educate Our State

Educate Our State is a grassroots, parent-led organization educating and uniting Californians to advocate for systemic change that will provide all students with a high quality education. We started in San Francisco in 2010 with 6 public school moms facing a funding crisis. Today we are 50,000 strong all across California. Visit our website (www.EducateOurState.org) and join us! Camp Fire San Diego County

Camp Fire San Diego County has been serving the county for over 75 years. Providing an array of year-round programs in the community, at Camp CaHiTo and at Camp WoLaHi that give youth the tools they need to be successful at home, at school, and in our larger community. Our Promise - Young people want to shape the world. Camp Fire provides the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are. In Camp Fire, it begins now. Light the fire within. At Camp Fire, we believe ALL youth deserve the opportunity to find their spark, lift their voice, and discover who they are. We provide opportunities, experiences, and relationships to thousands of youth each year to prepare them for success in school, work, and life. Many youth today don't feel as if they have a voice…but they desperately want to shape the world and make an impact. Camp Fire gives young people the opportunity to be heard.

Tri-City Volunteers

Tri-City Volunteers is a non-profit organization that provides food assistance and low cost clothing and household items to the residents of Alameda County. We are the largest client-direct food bank in the area. We serve up to 16,000 individuals every month through our food cart and bag lunch programs. With a staff of 6, a volunteer force of almost 1,900, and a budget that barely breaks $600,000, we are extremely efficient in distributing over 6 million pounds of food annually. We serve all low-income residents of Alameda County. Many of our clients come from migrant families, are under-employed, or are facing unemployment due to disability, a lack of relevant work skills, or other barriers.

The Humane Society of Tuolumne County

Our mission is to find homes for abandoned, abused, and unwanted animals, promote Humane Education, and maintain a clean and safe environment for homeless animals awaiting adoption. The Humane Society of Tuolumne County is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization established December 12, 1947 . We are a limited intake facility. Half our adoptable animals come from Tuolumne County Animal Control, and the remaining adoptable animals are owner released. We have 5 employees; all the other people who help at the shelter are volunteers. We work at the shelter because we respect life and care about the welfare of animals. You may not know this, but there are 6 million dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens killed every year in local shelters-just to make room for new arrivals-and the only thing that prevents us from saving more animals is funds. But as long as we can count on the support of our community and surrounding communities, we can continue our efforts-as we have since 1947, to rescue as many animals as possible. Your support allows us to never euthanize a healthy animal in our care. To keep that promise, however, we need to raise $30,000 each month! That's how much it cots to keep our doors open and provide care for the 90 animals we can being caring for on a daily basis. Right now the Humane Society is in desperate need of donations. We are looking to have to shut our doors in 8-12 months if we are not able to find a way out of our financial ruin. We lose money on every animal adopted. Donations are down dramatically, and support for fundraisers just isn't there.
