Running continuously since 1993, the Electra Kapiti Horowhenua Business Awards are possibly the longest-running Regional Business Awards in New Zealand. The Awards celebrate innovation and best business practice across all industries and sectors in the Kapiti and Horowhenua regions. Each year the Judges look for businesses that can demonstrate they are ahead of the curve and meeting our rapidly changing world with fresh ideas and solution focused attitudes.

The Cerebral Palsy Society of New Zealand is a registered charity that continues to enhance the lives of people with cerebral palsy of all ages in New Zealand by empowering them to make their own choices. The Society's objectives are to: - Promote Freedom & Choice; - Fulfil an advocacy role; - Provide physical, social, emotional, educational and recreational means to assist people with cerebral palsy; - Promote study and research. The Society also: - Offers unique programmes for members who meet the respective criterion; - Provides subsidized social events for members and encourages networking and a sense of community; - Supports the sport of Boccia; - Assists with sponsorship.

Presbyterian Support Northern

Presbyterian Support Northern provides clients with a unique combination of social services through our well-regarded brands of Family Works, Lifeline and Shine. We also have a long history of supporting those who are ageing or have a health and disability issue to live their best lives through our Enliven service. Over 1000 PSN staff deliver our much-valued services from 25 sites throughout the upper North Island from Taupō to Whangārei. As a large charitable service provider and faith-based organisation with a proud 135-year heritage, we have a strong sense of social mission, and facilitate innovative, community-level initiatives at the grassroots. We also provide social enterprise services, including Lifeline Connect and Shine Family Violence Education Services, that provide external training and consultancy to corporate and community organisations.

The SkyCity Auckland Trust’s vision is "Communities engaged and connected, enabling communities to thrive" SkyCity Auckland Community Trust is a valued part of the commitment SkyCity Auckland has made to the local community since its inception in 1996. Established in accordance with SkyCity Auckland's casino venue license, the Trust has distributed a total of over $62 million to 2,734 charitable organisations, both large and small, that have undertaken community assistance and development work in the area from the Far North through to the Bombay Hills. Organisations that support rangatahi are encouraged to apply. The focus of grants continues to be funding the outcomes of: - Strengthening cultural diversity, social connection, a greater sense of belonging and inclusion. - Building knowledge and skills. - Influencing behaviours and attitudes. The Trust has a Board of Trustees who make decisions on grant allocations and set strategic priorities for the Trust.
