Chautauqua Home Rehabilitation & Improvement Corporation (CHRIC)

Since 1978, CHRIC has worked to improve Chautauqua County's homes, neighborhoods, communities, and the lives of its residents. We have partnered to construct hundreds of units of senior housing. We have secured millions of dollars in federal, state and private funding to help local residents repair and improve their homes.We have created lead-safe housing for hundreds of young children. We have made homes safe and accessible for seniors and people with disabilities, including our US Military Veterans. We have provided counseling and assistance to help hundreds of young families purchase their first home. And we have secured funding to help local communities improve their infrastructure and restore their community landmarks and Main Streets. Our Mission: Promoting neighborhood stabilization, community revitalization, and economic development through projects and partnerships that positively impact Chautauqua County, NY and it's residents.

Work At It

An increasing number of youths in our community grapple with a sense that they don't fit in, and are slowly drifting away from their peers and school. They come from a broad spectrum of socio-economic backgrounds, and may suffer from anxiety, depression, ADHD, learning disabilities, or PTSD. High school dropout rates among these teens are spiking. Work At It is a grassroots organization founded 3 years ago that tackles the problem of youth-at-risk by addressing the practical. We help them find and recognize their unique talents, forging a way forward with structured days and increased optimism about their future. The existing community programs targeting this population offer emotional support and counseling, but fail to help them fill their days productively. Work At It provides workforce readiness and matches clients to jobs wherever possible. We provide skill and aptitude assessments, interview and job readiness skills, and educational roadmaps. Most importantly, we provide ongoing support and encouragement to foster success.

ACEC Missouri

The American Council of Engineering Companies of Missouri is the state affiliate of the national ACEC. This non-profit trade association represents highly qualified and experienced design firms offering engineering, architectural, surveying and planning services to business, industry and government. Virtually all areas of professional practice from acoustical to geotechnical to transportation are offered by member firms.

San Francisco Center for Economic Development

The San Francisco Center for Economic Development (SFCED) focuses exclusively on helping businesses locate and expand in the Bay Area. We work collaboratively with other like-minded partner organizations, industry groups and the Mayor's Office of Economic and Workforce Development (MOEWD), to pave the way for businesses to succeed in one of the most dynamic, innovative and technologically advanced cities in the world. As a department of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Foundation 501(c)(3), we are able to bring the strength, stature, and public policy expertise of the Chamber to our efforts. We provide a one-stop information and networking resource for businesses considering their strategy and location—delivering crucial relocation knowledge and links to professional and industry networks. We offer no charge, comprehensive confidential assistance and fast-track access to help companies take advantage of government incentives, aiding them in navigating state and local regulations.
