A31 is a transdisciplinary group of visionary architects, designers and engineers, creating prominent spaces which are tailored to the needs of the people as well as the land and the setting concerned. (Aris Konstaninidis, 1942) The function of Α31 is based on that exact union of art and science, on the juncture of craftsmanship and technique which permits the generation of work that meets the requirements so as to satisfy people's true needs, while also pleasing their aesthetic criteria. Company Overview Α31 gets established in 2002, when Praxitelis Kondylis, an up-and-coming young architect with rich academic qualifications and experience in architectural firms abroad, decides to create his own practice back in Athens. Soon enough, A31 architecture undertakes design and construction projects, industrial design builidings, as well as interior design ventures – starting with Athens, and expanding its work elsewhere in Greece and Cyprus. In 2007, the organogram of the firm gets enriched with the addition of Panagiotis Karras, Civil Engineer, which leads to the formation of Α31 Architecture & Construction, and completes the form of the practice and the services it provides.
