Heading the People Operations team for Sri Lanka while managing global operations for MIT ESP subsidiaries across ASEAN, SAARC, and Middle East regions. I oversee critical functions including Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, Grievance Handling, Employee Engagement, and Well-being. Additionally, I spearhead initiatives related to Diversity and Inclusion by implementing programs and policies to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
I also evaluate and implement HR technology solutions to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations in multiple jurisdictions is a key responsibility, with sound knowledge in labor laws and practices in Singapore, Dubai, and Bangladesh. Facilitating cross-cultural understanding and collaboration within multicultural teams is another focus area.
Furthermore, I develop contingency plans and protocols to effectively manage HR-related crises or emergencies, and I create and implement policies and practices to maintain organizational compliance and promote employee well-being and productivity.
