Skilled leading teams, handling multiple projects and successfully adapting to changing business environments.
Versed in all aspects of running a business, my strengths are in building relationships. With Microchip, I've developed relationships with professors worldwide who have created workshops, written text books and switched their curriculum to Microchip based architecture.
As co-chair of the volunteer FIRST Robotics Arizona Planning Committee since 2003, I've had the pleasure of working with dedicated industry leaders, educators, mentors, parents, and volunteers who impact STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in schools. I am also the Arizona Regional Director for FIRST and coordinate the FIRST Robotics Competition in Arizona, with 50 high school teams and 100 volunteers. I am also growing Vex robotics programs in Arizona.
As Principal Investigator for several grants promoting STEM education, I've interfaced with many groups that impact the direction of education in Arizona.
As co-chair of Microchip's United Way Campaign, successfully managed events and raised a quarter of a million dollars.
As a member of the Action Committee for the Arizona Science and Technology Festival, I plan and coordinate several activities that promote Arizona as a technology growth area.
My goal is to utilize my skills and experience in managment to impact change in an organizaton.
