About
I completed my Masters in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, USA in 2005. Then, I co-founded a startup in the electronic design automation arena which was acquired by PDF Solutions in 2007. In 2009 I returned to India and joined Freshtrop, just as we were diversifying into the fruit processing segment.
For the last 10+ years now, I have been working to create a profitable business model and establishing supplies to large corporates in India as well as abroad. Since 2018, I have also been heading our Second Nature business - serving cold-extracted juices to the Indian market and bringing global standards of hygiene and food safety to this industry.
In the fresh fruits segment, I manage the operations of Post-Harvest Management of grapes at Freshtrop's Sangli unit. I also work on grower relations in Sangli and on building food safety and pesticide residue monitoring systems to ensure compliance of our produce to EU norms.
