Co-founder of Cervélo, the most engineering-driven bike company in history. It quickly became the most popular triathlon bike and pro cycling bike in the world. In 2009 we added the Cervelo TestTeam, a pro cycling team that set new standards for fan access, rider education & sponsor activation. It became the world's #1 team within 5 months.
In 2012, we sold Cervélo. I'm currently working on several new ventures:
- OPEN, with Andy Kessler. "Working hard to stay small" with great bikes & lots of customer interaction, including the multi-award-winning OPEN U.P.
- 3T, with Rene Wiertz. We try to add to the great history of this famous Italian bike component brand with a complete overhaul of the product line and a new series of #Firsts in the bike industry.
Cervélo and OPEN are featured in David Meerman Scott’s bestsellers “The new rules of Marketing & PR” and "The new rules of Sales & Service".
