I am a creative and motivated professional with extensive experience in business development, currently employed with Vallibel Finance PLC as the Manager - Corporate Communications which is one of the leading finance companies in Sri Lanka. In my present role, I am involved in high-level strategy development and am responsible for maintaining strong relationships with all stake holders while implementing various ATL and BTL strategies to reach top line and bottom line expectations. I also keep a close eye on market trends and identify gaps and niches that represent new business opportunities. This involves continual business prospecting and bidding, and maintaining high volume pipeline management.
I’m a forward thinker and very analytical thorough developing business plans and strategies. I am very much a team player and thrive in a stimulating and dynamic environment. I have my MBA from the University of Cardiff Metropolitan,UK and Bachelor degree from University of Edith Cowan Perth Western Australia and An Associate Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing.
My marketing background in the Banking & finance sector has given me extensive experience in identifying profitable opportunities for growth, implementing target driven plans and marketing research. I am also proficient in all Microsoft applications and have excellent presentation skills.
My goal is to continue learning and developing my expertise in my future role, which I could continue to exercise and broaden my business development skills. More importantly I will be able to add value to any organization where I’m working.
