Patricia focuses on employment law. She has extensive experience in contentious and non-contentious employment matters. Patricia regularly advises on disputes over termination, remuneration, restrictive covenants and team moves, acting for both employers and employees. She often negotiates exit packages, particularly for clients in the financial services sector. She also advises both employers and employees on employment-related litigation, both in the Labour Tribunal (where she advises clients on all stages of the proceedings) and in the High Court. On the non-contentious side, Patricia deals with reviewing and drafting employment contracts, handbooks and HR policies, as well as transfers of employment. Patricia has advised both employers and employees on internal investigations and regulatory issues arising from employment, including Labour Department investigations and prosecutions. In addition to her employment experience, Patricia is also regularly involved in general litigation and insurance matters, with particular emphasis on defending professional negligence claims. She is on the panel for the Hong Kong Solicitors Indemnity Scheme.
