I'm a computer scientist and an inventor with 23 years of solid IT experience and10 years in management and exec. roles. I'm also a very accomplished VP of Technology and Engineering and CTO, having been instrumental to the growth of all companies I worked for and the successful exit of two start-up companies. I have numerous years of experience in depth and breath in the following areas: - Big Data: In managing, architecting and building Big Data platform using fit to for purpose technologies, such as Cassandra and Hadoop and exploiting billions of documents and millions of images and videos. - Data Engineering: architecting and building high performance ETL and data engineering systems, both in the delivery of a full blown ETL product and in using various ETL tools and data pipeline technologies. - Data Warehousing and BI: In managing, architecting and building very large data warehouse system under the Kimball methodology. - MPP technologies such as Greenplum, Cassandra, Netezza, Informix XPS, Cube technologies, etc. - Natural Language processing using both, computational linguistics, and ML algorithms, such as Neural Networks, Logistic Regression, TF-IDF and Cosine Similarity. - Java Development, including REST points, Java Spring Boot, JDBC and much more. - Postgres, SQLServer, Sybase, and Informix. - Project management, using both waterfall and Agile/Scrum approach and well versed in Jira In the area of AI, I have patented and built one of the most sophisticated AI chatterbox development platforms in the world based on strong cognitive-linguistic theory and using a variety of AI techniques. Other technologies that I have patented and brought to market include enhancing speech recognition, and a superior sentiment analysis engine. At Semantic AI have worked with Semantic Graphs, and brought into fruition some of the best practices and innovative approaches for handling AI problems.
