About
Prior to purchasing her business from her uncle in 2003, Marlene lived in Washington, DC for 13 years where she studied at The Catholic University of America eventually working at the White House as a political appointee. Following September 11, 2001, she decided to move home to the South Shore and pursue her love of interior design. She joined her uncle’s firm and, after a year working together, she took over ownership when he retired, re-branding it as The Cabinetry.
Today, Marlene has grown The Cabinetry into a design + build firm that specializes in kitchen and bathroom remodeling. She is an interior designer and Mass. licensed contractor, offering her clients a complete kitchen and bath remodel in one stop. The Cabinetry's showroom provides a warm and inviting setting where clients can collaborate on design, view product samples and make decisions and avoid running around to different vendors and showrooms. The Cabinetry's production formula keeps projects running on time and on budget using technology for project communication and a team of best-in-class professionals.
