About
As an International Student from Malaysia and a proud Muslim Hijabi, I am passionate for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the accounting industry. I am dedicated to inspiring young Muslim girls who aspire to work in the accounting industry but are concerned about fitting in.
I am currently working towards my Master of Professional Accountancy (MPAcc) at Central Washington University, with an expected graduation date in June, 2025. I am also on track to become CPA eligible by June, 2025.
I have gained accounting experience through internships at a small/mid-size firm (RH2, Vine Dahlen PLLC), one of the top prestigious accounting firms today (Baker Tilly), and one of the Big Four accounting firms (Deloitte), where I was a tax and audit intern. I am known for my work ethic, ability to adapt to changes, and positive attitude.
