About
I hold a law degree from the University of Buenos Aires (1994) and an LL.M in International Legal Studies from New York University (1997). Currently, I serve as the Modernization of the State Lead Specialist at the Innovation in Citizen Services Division of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
In that capacity, I provide technical assistance and financial services to Latin American and Caribbean countries in the areas of transparency, public integrity and business ethics, open government, accountability, and anti-corruption. In recent times, I have expanded my focus to include Supreme Audit Institutions and to manage a group of consultants to design and implement digital solutions for the mentioned areas.
Prior to my role at the Bank, I served at the three branches of Government in Argentina and as a private consultant. I dedicated my efforts to governance and transparency matters at the Anticorruption Office, the Judicial Council, and as an advisor at the Argentine Congress. Notably, I was appointed as the lead expert for my country at the Follow-Up Mechanism on the Implementation of the Inter-American Convention Against Corruption –IACAC- in 2003. Additionally, I represented Argentina at the Working Group Against Bribery of Foreign Public Officials within the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (2000-2003).
My commitment to education is evident through my teaching of constitutional law and corruption prevention at various universities (Buenos Aires, San Andres, Palermo) in my home country before joining the IDB in 2010. I have also contributed to the field through lectures and the publication of several articles on these topics.
