Summary of experience and achievements:
• Started the career with Thomas Cook Group, Bahrain Regional Office, in 1978.
• Was assigned to Thomas Cook Al Rostamani, U.A.E, a joint venture between Thomas Cook Group and the Al Rostamani Group, as its Chief Accountant, in 1979. This venture subsequently became wholly owned and managed by the Al Rostamani Group. Positions held during the tenure between 1979- 2006, include Finance Manager of Thomas Cook Al Rostamani Travel and Thomas Cook Al Rostamani Exchange, combined, Assistant Foreign Exchange Manager, Manager UAE and General Manager, of Thomas Cook Al Rostamani Exchange Company (now known as Al Rostamani International Exchange).
• Have played the leadership role for all the achievements of Thomas Cook Al Rostamani Exchange Company since inception of the company until resignation in 2006, which include winning of, the Dubai Quality Award -2003 under the “Best Company of the Year- Financial” category and Dubai Quality Appreciation Programme Award in 1998.
• Co-founder and Managing Director of DULOG (established in 2007) , a wholly integrated logistics service provider with corporate Head Quarters in Dubai, U.A.E.
• Have served as member of the financial sector advisory board with the Dubai Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai, during the period 2002- 2003 ( Please refer Annex A)
• Have served as member of the National Anti-Money Laundering Committee –chaired by the Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE, during the period 2002 to 2006. ( Please refer Annex B)
• Ex. President of World Malayalee Council (a global organization of Malayalee community from India), Dubai Province.
