With over 31 years of specialized experience in Instrumentation & Controls Engineering within the oil and gas industry, I bring deep domain expertise in SCADA systems, process automation, custody metering, and pipeline instrumentation. My career has been defined by hands-on leadership across complex infrastructure projects i.e LNG, Commissioning of 48 inch Dia natural gas pipeline, Augmentation of LPG Booster pump, Custody metering system, upgradation of instrumentation system, Interconnection of pipeline network to swap the gas from one pipe to another for effective utilization of pipeline capacity.
I have led the full lifecycle of multi-million-dollar projects—Instrumentation design engineering, execution, commissioning, Up gradation and maintenance—with consistent focus on safety, compliance of inter nationation standard & operational excellence. My expertise spans DCS, PLC , SCADA, Fire & Gas systems, SIL-rated instrumentation, HAZOP, Risk Assesment, P&ID, Hazardous area classification, Custody metering application, flow computer configuration, flow validation, On line GC, Self actuated PCV , remote operation of AV, Process automation. Whether modernizing control systems or executing strategic capacity enhancements, I’ve continuously championed technical precision, reliability, and cost-effective solutions.
As Dy. General Manager (Instrumentation) at GAIL (India) Limited, I’ve overseen instrumentation for over 780 km of natural gas pipelines network, leading teams across asset integrity, regulatory compliance, and preventive maintenance. I’ve also driven key infrastructure transformations—Upgradation , Integrity of pipeline network, reconcillation of gas, prepartation of joint gas ticketing of 52 customers based on AGA3, AGA7, AGA8, AGA9 & AGA10.
