Rusiru Boralugoda currently works in the capacity of a Senior Assistant Director at the Dept. of Information Technology, Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Before joining the Central Bank, he worked as a Software Engineer at 99X Technology Pvt Ltd.
Rusiru graduated from the Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering of University of Moratuwa , obtaining a First Class. He obtained his Masters degree in Business Administration from Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayawardenepura with a Merit Award.
Rusiru is interested in developing both web-based and stand-alone applications and has shown competency in many technologies including .Net, Java, PHP, Actionscript, JavaScript, Flash and Flex, etc. He is also a Microsoft Certified Professional.
During his school and University days, studying was not the only thing he engaged in. Rusiru was a member of his college basketball team, western band and was an active member of many other clubs and societies. In addition to his technical life, Rusiru has shown talents in compering a number of school events as well as in singing and playing musical instruments in many college and University functions.
