With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, I am the Chief Technology Officer at University of Maryland Medical System, where I oversee the strategic vision, planning, and execution of technology initiatives and solutions that support the health care delivery and operations of one of the largest and most diverse academic medical systems in the country. I bring my expertise in cybersecurity, software development, system architecture, and cloud computing to ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of the IT infrastructure and services that enable UMMS to provide high-quality care to millions of patients across Maryland and beyond. I also lead the innovation and transformation of the IT culture and capabilities, fostering a collaborative and agile environment that encourages learning, experimentation, and adaptation. As a former Global Head of Infrastructure at L3Harris Technologies and a former CTO at CACI International, I have a proven track record of delivering complex and mission-critical IT projects for the federal government and the defense sector, leveraging my credentials as an AWS Certified Solutions Architect, a Project Management Professional, and a Certified Scrum Master.
