That happy children are happy learners who eventually bloom into sensible and sensitive humans is what I firmly believe in! I have been striving hard and with utmost earnestness, to make school day meaningful, productive and joyous for all the stakeholders since I started my career as one of the pioneers at Delhi Public School, Ludhiana in 2004. This platform laid a strong foundation of my career as I got the requisite exposure under the guidance of stalwarts like Mr. Vivek Ramchandani (Former Headmaster Doon School and Founder Principal, The Shri Ram School, Delhi). From being a Class teacher to Subject Coordinator, Activity I/C and being a part of admission and recruitment process, I attempted et al right in the first year of my career. This success followed my illustrious tenure at Sat Paul Mittal School, Ludhiana (The school had started in technical collaboration with The Shri Ram School, Delhi.) where I rose to the position of Headmistress in mere three years by sheer dint of hard work. I moved forward to seek progression in my career as the Founder Vice-principal at Manav Rachna International School, Ludhiana. I set up the school from a scratch and was promoted to the Principal’s position within one year of my service (There was no Principal in the school when I was the Vice-principal). I, then worked with Indus World School, Ludhiana in the capacity of Principal. I set up The Shri Ram Universal School, Ludhiana thereafter. I presently head St Kabir Public School, Chandigarh. I come with a strong academic background, leadership skills that I acquired during my school and college days, command on language, love for reading, research acumen and exemplary communication skills, an extremely positive spirit to live a full life and a strong desire to learn every day. My experience of having worked across grades and with the new age schools empowers me to develop a strong hold on all facets of school education. I have undertaken many change initiatives during my career and am surely capable of revolutionizing any existing system and making it in sync with the new age schools best suited to the present milieu. Whether virtual or real, learning must continue for children. However, blended learning with a thorough clarity of learning objectives and outcomes and not mere tools is what we ought to master to move forward in a world changing faster than the pace and uncertainty of lightning. It’s high time we reinvent and reimagine schools.
