With over 16 years of regional and global experience in various leadership roles, I am a passionate and skilled Leadership and Competency Manager at Sime Darby Plantation, the world's largest RSPO palm oil producer. As an ICF Certified Professional Coach with a Master of Applied Psychology in Coaching, I specialize in people, talent, business development, and HR strategic management.
My current role at Sime Darby Plantation (SDP) has allowed me to pioneer groundbreaking projects for the Plantation industry. One notable achievement is the Global Hybrid Launch of a global learning-on-demand program in partnership with LinkedIn Learning, spanning multiple countries (Malaysia, Indonesia, UK, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Island, etc. Additionally, I am leading the alignment of SDP Technical Modules (Estate and Mill) covering all the above countries, fostering a culture of continuous technical learning and development.
In my previous roles, I have successfully launched and managed multiple L&D and performance initiatives, such as "Manager as a Coach" (Imparting coaching skills to managers) impacting almost 400+ managers, "The Big Conversation" (Performance Conversations) and "Productive Feedback" (tools to give and receive feedback) impacting almost 5000+ employees, etc. I also served as a Coach/Trainer and quality Analyst for G-Suite/Google Cloud at Google, where I played a vital role in training and quality assurance.
My core capabilities include change management, process improvement, agile coaching, competence gap analysis, and training.
I received the AKRI Award in 2018 from the Ministry of Education Malaysia for my innovative and immersive curriculum design for 52 emotional intelligence modules. I aim to empower and enable leaders to unleash their full potential and drive organizational excellence and growth. I believe in being curious, continuously learning, and having a beginner's mind in whatever I do.
