New adventures were calling, and I answered! I have relocated to the Olympia/Shelton area in Washington State. I have had the opportunity to connect with creatives, and there are artistic plans in the future! At the same time, I am looking for employment in the area.
My work experience over the last 8 years in Phoenix, AZ, including joining the team at the Academy for Justice, a center within Arizona State University, Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law, in January 2019. The Academy aims to bridge academia to real-world applications and experience in criminal justice reform. It was a great experience to assist with starting a new center and having the opportunity to build relationships and learn more about criminal justice reform.
Looking to start a new adventure and still stay connected to ASU, I came on board as a Foundation Operations Coordinator at the ASU Foundation in January 2022. In this position, I assisted up to five executive directors, VPs, and development officers.
I discovered a new opportunity in October 2023 at the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law as a Program Coordinator for the new Law Alumni Engagement Office, working with Assistant Dean Lauren Burkhart and assisting her with launching a dynamic, successful alumni engagement office at the law school.
Although my administrative and executive assistant roles are at the forefront of my career, I am also an artist who creates and sells artwork. I had an art studio in Portland, OR, and have worked in an art gallery as the Art Coordinator. I am looking to find employment involving something creative soon!
