About

I lead brand strategy, communication, customer and digital experience on behalf of mission-driven organizations committed to making our communities stronger. My passion is to make the world—whether for customers, families, staff or caregivers--more human and more connected. I especially like to live in the space of change, where collaboration rooted in customer insights can deliver creativity, strong relationships and transformation. Since joining Children’s Wisconsin in 2012, our team has achieved ten consecutive years of market share growth; measurable and sustained increases in brand equity; and the launch of a customer engagement platform that provides an integrated digital experience for each step of the journey. We created the organization's first brand campaign, Kids Deserve the Best in 2013; stood up the system's Digital Health and Experience team in 2018; and evolved the brand name of the organization to Children's Wisconsin in 2019. By the end of 2020, we were providing 75,000 telehealth visits in response to the pandemic and then added responsibility for overall experience management. This followed ten years at Marquette University, where we launched Be The Difference (still going strong after 20 years), invested in the digital experience and told the story of Marquette through the university’s commitment to transformational education. I provide thought leadership on digital strategy, branding, and customer focus . I have been recognized as a PowHER 10 by the PowHER Network, as Milwaukee's Chief Marketing Officer of the Year (2020), one of the Business Journal’s Forty Under Forty (2008), as one of Milwaukee Magazine’s 35 Faces of the Future (2002) and by OnMilwaukee.com as one of Milwaukee’s “100 Coolest Moms” (2007). I am certified as a facilitator for culture formation, and have written and presented for Children's Hospital Association, AVIA Health Network, AMA Higher Ed Marketing Symposium, Health Care on the Internet, Jesuit Advancement Association, Professional Dimensions Ideation Summit, Lead Like An Ally, and many more. Outside of work, I am an engaged citizen with causes focused on equity, education and spirituality. At home, I live with my partner Sylvia Meltzer, MD, and I answer to “Mom!” for my two awesome kids, Elizabeth and Colman, and to “walk!” for Iggy, our beloved Spanish Water Dog.
